Today marks the day 122 years ago when D.D. Palmer delivered the first ever chiropractic adjustment!

D.D. Palmer adjusted Harvey Lillard’s neck on September 18, 1895. Harvey Lillard had lost his hearing for many years. D.D Palmer checked his cervical spine (neck) and noticed a bump in the area. He applied adjustments to the area and eventually Mr. Lillard’s hearing was restored. This was the first ever chiropractic adjustment.
Today we celebrate the 122nd anniversary of that day.
Since then chiropractors have helped millions of people improve their quality of life.
